Philosophy

Pastels are the purest and oldest painting art form.

Since the primitive use of raw pigments in art caves (mainly earth pigments like Yellow Ochre, Red Ochre and Black from Charcoal), humans have used pure colours as the best way to express themselves and their understanding of the world.

Devoted to the inmense cultural heritage that the pigments and colours represent, we take the most excellent care in producing our soft Pastels. With the highest amount of pigment, made one by one, and preparing our colours, knowing that someday, other hands will use them to create their art.

Making soft pastels in the artisan way requires deep concentration and state of mind….it is a kind of active meditation. And this is the art itself
